Small firm's concerns will be addressed says Minister
A series of meetings has been arranged with contractors over concerns that local company JCK was awarded more than its fare share of contracts following flood damage in Laxey.
DOI Minister Phil Gawne confirmed the news in Tynwald this morning (Tues)
He was answering questions regarding the demolition of the Laxey bridge.
Mr Gawne said he believed other smaller firms thought that as the largest contractor on the Island, JCK was getting most of the work.
He said their concerns would be addressed.
