Keir Morris described as a club 'legend'
Marown AFC has paid tribute to club president and treasurer Keir Morris, following his death.
The club is describing him as 'a Marown AFC legend'.
In a statement on social media, Manager David Brew said: "It's with a very heavy heart that I have to let you know that our president, treasurer and big brother, Keir Morris sadly passed away late yesterday.
"Keir was instrumental in our two promotions over the last 10 or so years.
"He changed the way we trained and the way we approached games.
"We were clear and by far the fittest team in the division...and that's down to him.
"The bibs have not been the same these last two seasons without him!
"We still spoke at least twice a week about the club...he loved the club, and it was in his heart to the end.
"We won't get a minute's silence, but we'll raise a glass or two at the dinner...sandy bottoms Mo, I'm going to miss you buddy".
