Jim Quinn is part of Manx Support for Ukraine
A Manx resident has received a certificate of gratitude from a Ukrainian commander for his support and help over the last year.
Jim Quinn, a member of the group Manx Support for Ukraine, has - together with other members - dispatched food, clothing, military aid, and vehicles to the war-torn country.
Today - on the one year anniversary of the Russian invasion - a team is currently in Ukraine handing over a 20th vehicle and more supplies.
Jim also provides support to an orphanage that acts as a hospital for children with special needs in Lviv.
The certificate, signed by a colonel of the Mountain Assault Brigade, thanks Mr Quinn for his help and also wishes him good health, well-being and God's blessing among others.

Speaking to Manx Radio Jim said he plans to visit Ukraine in March and will continue to help as long as he can:
