'Flitters' explained by Culture Vannin
What did you have for breakfast this morning?
Culture Vannin has promoted an old Manx tradition for Good Friday morning - the eating of 'flitters'.
Some argue it's "a very ancient Celtic ritual" pre-dating the arrival of Christianity on the Island.
The shellfish, known as 'limpets' in England, were caught from the rocks and cooked there on the shore:
Carers: 'They are often the quiet heroes of our Island'
Hooper: 'Time to bite the bullet and build new hospital'
'No final decisions' made yet about relocating dementia patients says Manx Care
'We want to provide a facility for almost anybody'
