Nine people attempting challenge for Looky's Aid

Nine people leave the Island for Africa today (Friday 10 January), as they attempt to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in memory of their son, brother and friend.

Lucas Martin was just 21 when he died suddenly of meningitis in September 2023.

The team has already raised nearly £20,000 for the charity set up in his name - Looky's Aid.

Among them are his dad Brett, his best friend Patrick and Patrick's stepdad Richard.
