Work planned to increase in-patient capacity ahead of races
Manx Care says all of its departments are in a good state of readiness ahead of this year's TT.
The healthcare provider has been giving details of its preparations for this year's racing fortnight in its latest board papers.
There are still some locum posts to fill, but the organisation says this isn't causing concern yet, while UK hospitals that may treat patients from the Island haven't reported any issues.
Manx Care describes the TT as the greatest challenge to its hospital services throughout the year.
The health service will also hold a discharge event before TT designed to increase in-patient capacity, which is says will help it cope with the additional 50,000+ visitors who may require medical treatment during the fortnight.
The assurance comes after Manx Care announced it was cancelling all elective procedures until next Monday due to 'very high demand'.
