The Head of Healthcare and International Life Sciences for KPMG says the Isle of Man isn't alone in experiencing problems financing and staffing its health services.
However, Dr Edward Fitzgerald, who trained as a surgeon, says being an Island does seem to make things more difficult.
Last year KPMG launched a global healthcare hub for small islands, enabling them to share experience and best practice to tailor their approach to the specific needs of their people.
