A local GP is urging against excessive use of painkillers.
It comes as the watchdog NICE suggests there's little evidence drugs like paracetamol or ibuprofen make any difference for people living with chronic pain.
The dangers of addiction are also being highlighted.
Dr John Snelling says your body can become used to painkillers over time, but adds you should consult your doctor before stopping any medication suddenly:
