The profile of drug use in the Isle of Man broadly reflects trends seen across the UK, according to the Chief Executive of Motiv8.
Thea Ozenturk says it remains most common among younger people, though it is also present among older age groups.
Motiv8, approaching its 50th year in 2026, reports rising demand for its services and says this year has brought the highest number of referrals since the pandemic.
Ms Ozenturk adds that drug use is unlikely to disappear, but society must improve how it supports people to rebuild their lives:
