The three-year-old Cocker Spaniel tried many homes over the years

After nearly three years in the care of the ManxSPCA, a long-time resident dog has finally found his forever home.

Cooper the three-year-old Cocker Spaniel tried many homes over the years, but unfortunately, they didn't work out for him.

He's been listed on the charity's website as one of its S.T.A.R. dogs (which stands for Special Training and Activity Required); meaning he has been having to re-learn about boundaries, and wasn't suitable to be re-homed with other pets.

He's now joined Greenhills Sanctuary, a small non-profit based in the north of the Island.

The ManxSPCA says he's proof that every dog is different, and his journey 'reminds us that happiness doesn’t always look the same for every pet'.
