Ban on imports of meat and dairy products remains in place
Overseas visitors for the TT are being reminded of the ban on bringing dairy and meat products to the Island - especially from the EU and European Economic Area.
The rules were brought in last April to prevent the spread of foot and mouth disease.
The restrictions apply to all meat from cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs, as well as dairy products and even sandwiches bought at airports.
If you're entering the Isle of Man from anywhere other than the UK, you cannot bring in any of the following food items:
Meat products: raw, cooked, cured, smoked, dried, or processed
Dairy products: milk, cheese, yoghurt, butter
Mixed foods containing meat or dairy: sandwiches, ready meals, filled pastries, pizzas
Cured meats: salami, chorizo, serrano ham
Cheese of any kind: including sealed or duty‑free items
These bans apply even if the food is commercially packaged or sealed.
