There’s no word on the future of staff at a town centre shop in Douglas after its parent company folded.
Jessops announced today it has closed all of its 187 stores – including the branch in the Strand Shopping Centre.
Earlier this week the company applied to go into administration and there were hopes a buyer could be found for the business.
However, talks have failed and the chain shut at 5pm on Friday with the loss of more than 1,300 staff across Britain.
