But Moody's highlights labour shortage as challenge

International credit ratings agency Moody's has maintained the Isle of Man's Aa3 credit rating, with a stable outlook matching that of the UK.

Its latest report highlights the Island's low debt levels and financial reserves, while forecasting economic growth of 2.2 percent this year.

However, it says labour shortages remain the biggest challenge, with unemployment standing at just 0.7 percent and vacancies remaining high.

The report also notes that visitor numbers in 2024 exceeded pre-pandemic levels as the Island's economy continued to recover from recent global shocks.
