Budget confirms levy on fizzy drinks
A tax on soft drinks will be introduced in the Isle of Man, from April next year.
Treasury Minister Alfred Cannan confirmed the move in his budget speech on Tuesday.
He said it would largely mirror plans in the UK.
Mr Cannan said he expected it to raise almost £1 million in the first year - but that it would be managed so companies weren't taxed twice.
