Rick Astley recounts childhood trip
We're used to seeing the Isle of Man being praised as a holiday destination in the Sunday papers by authors and celebrities.
However, an article in the Mail online may not encourage too many people to come here.
Whilst only a few months back, singer Gary Barlow praised the Island as being an "amazing place" which had "blown him away", today fellow chanteur Rick Astley remembers a holiday here when he was a boy as "unexciting"
Now 52, the singer came over with a school trip, but in an article about the best - and worst - holidays of his life writes . . "I remember playing crazy golf and visiting Laxey Wheel . . . but it wasn't exciting for me as I'd been five times before to visit family"
