MHK says any government-backed operation must run independently
A government-backed airline must not be run by politicians.
That's the view of former pilot and recently-elected Douglas South MHK Paul Quine.
Garff MHK Martyn Perkins and former Manx Airlines boss Terry Liddiard are among those calling for the Isle of Man to have more control over its air links.
Mr Quine says it would only work if it was operated independently:
