MHK welcomes scheme despite road safety concerns
An MHK believes the Island is 20 years behind the rest of the world in promoting active travel.
A number of routes in central Douglas and the Heritage Trail will be improved over the next couple of years in a bid to get more Manx residents walking and cycling to work or school.
Middle member Bill Shimmins says there's a lot of interest in active commuting in his constituency.
