Plus statement from health minister on Hospice funding

The health minister will address Keys members this morning on Hospice funding.

It follows the recent redundancies announcement by the charity.

Keys will then hear an urgent question on notice of a 25 percent fuel surcharge by the Steam Packet. And questions about the fuel price rises.

Minister Claire Christian's statement is likely to start proceedings.

Then we will have the Steam Packet urgent question, from Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse.

He will ask in what circumstances the Steam Packet Company may increase a fuel surcharge and what powers exist to prevent this or impose a decrease.

Starred questions range from oil prices - the answer will come from the chief minister - the Sea Services Agreement, and items sent out with voting registration forms.

Alfred Cannan will be asked what light he can shed on bus strike talks, and there's a question on whether Jess's rule is being considered by Manx Care.

Mr Moorhouse asks about any plans to revamp the front of the airport and a tiles issue at the NSC.

Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper inquires about bus facilities in Douglas, in particular at Lord Street, after the recent granting of planning approval.
