Houghton to call for bus probe

A North Douglas MHK will ask Tynwald to investigate bendy buses and bus routes.

John Houghton will move for a three-man select committee to be set up to look into the issues.

If he gets the votes required to go ahead, Mr Houghton would see the committee investigate whether the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure properly consulted and carried out feasibility studies.

The motion will be considered when the court sites later this month.
