The Island’s new Health Minister says staff at Noble’s Hospital should be extremely proud of their ‘caring and committed’ approach.
It follows the publication this week of the first of a three part review into the Island’s health service.
However, Howard Quayle has vowed to leave ‘no stone unturned’ after the review threw up a range of concerns in patient care.
They include a shortage of operating theatre staff, poor management of trauma cases and a lack of medical 'lead' in critical care.
Mr Quayle says criticism is not directed at the staff themselves.
