The health minister says her department will offer the charity support following redundancy announcement
The health minister says government remains a committed partner of Hospice Isle of Man and that essential core services provided by the charity are protected.
Claire Christian made a statement in the House of Keys this morning after Hospice announced it would be making redundancies and service changes due to financial difficulties.
Ms Christian told the House she was unable to say exactly how services will be impacted until a three-week voluntary redundancy process has been completed by Hospice.
The minister confirmed her department will offer the charity support, but admits funding increases can be challenging:
