Organisers appeal for volunteers
Hollywood actor John Rhys-Davies is to officially open the 7th CAMRA Isle of Man Beer and Cider Festival next month, although organisers are looking for more help.
The festival is again being staged in the Villa Marina Royal Hall from April 12-14 and will feature more than 150 real ales, 40+ ciders, perries and fruit wines.
Mr Rhys-Davies, who has a home in the Island, has appeared in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, the Indiana Jones films and in the James Bond film The Living Daylights.
Meanwhile, organisers have put out a call for volunteers, particularly CAMRA members to help with running the event.
Tasks vary from stacking the casks and dispensing the beers and ciders, to the final dismantling and clearing of the Royal Hall.
