Pre-TT racing starts in the south of the Island this evening
It's challenging to get perfect conditions across the Mountain Course, according to a senior meteorological officer at Ronaldsway.
Pre-TT racing starts in the south of the Island this evening (22 May) with the TT fortnight underway from Monday (25 May).
Kirsty Wilding says Isle of Man residents and visitors can expect dry and settled conditions as well as higher temperatures of 18-19 degrees over the weekend (23-24 May) and 20 degrees on Monday.
While practice week will be settled with some low cloud and coastal mist, she adds race week has more unsettled conditions:
One in eight drinking above recommended weekly alcohol limit
Renal patients 'near breaking point' over lack of dialysis facilities in the north
Public Health to expand 'stop nicotine' services and accept referrals from children
Fourth candidate declares for Glenfaba and Peel
