Good diet and exercise encouraged
A fair was held at St Mary's Primary School in Douglas yesterday (17 Jan) to educate pupils on the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
Local businesses and the services from the Department of Health and Social Care were all present to offer the children advice on diet, mental health and exercises.
Part of a week long series of activities at the school, the students will also take part in a 'Zumbathon' as well as walking a mile each day.
The week was organised by the Department as part of its overall strategy to encourage people to take greater responsibility of their own health.
