Two women have been found guilty of election fraud.
A seven-strong jury has returned a unanimous guilty verdict in the case of 25-year-old Kerry Rothwell of Onchan and 40-year-old Gail Corrin of Douglas.
There were tears in the dock as the verdicts were read out after 20 hours of deliberations.
It brings to an end a six-week trial at Douglas courthouse which has cost an estimated £3 million.
Charles Lewin, who has already admitted three counts of election fraud, will be sentenced along with Rothwell and Corrin next month.
The defendants dishonestly obtained proxy votes in the 2010 Douglas East by-election for candidate Kevin Woodford.
