Hospitality firms under significant strain according to Guernsey Chief Minister
The hospitality sector in Guernsey is facing three winters in a row, despite the Manx air corridor.
That's the view of Guernsey Chief Minister Gavin St Pier, who is currently on holiday in the Isle of Man.
Although hundreds have travelled between the two islands since Aurigny started the flights three weeks ago, tourism businesses are still under pressure.
Mr St Pier expects this to continue for the foreseeable future:
Renewed calls for public referendum on Island's Assisted Dying Bill
Manannan delay blamed on fault with propulsion system
Nurses to be asked for views on three-year pay offer
