Health minister responds after Abbotswood fears
The health minister has confirmed government does supply the Island's care homes with personal protective equipment.
David Ashford was asked about it at this afternoon's Isle of Man Government media briefing, following an interview with a director of Abbotswood Nursing Home in Ballasalla, who said she felt 'let down' by government.
Zandra Lewis has asked for help, and wants government to provide "the appropriate PPE", after two confirmed cases of Covid-19 with five further residents showing signs of the illness and due to be tested.
She believes these will be confirmed as further positive cases.
