Pledged to provide further update in October
The treasury minister says there is a limit to the support government can offer during the current cost of living crisis.
In Tynwald yesterday David Ashford discussed measures aimed at helping the most vulnerable in society.
He's also pledged to come back to the court in October to discuss further support, if required, over the winter period.
But Mr Ashford told Manx Radio there is a limit:
