Work going on behind scenes says enterprise minister
Government needs to get its ‘housekeeping’ right in relation to the Isle of Man’s appearance but work is going on ‘behind the scenes’.
That’s the view of the enterprise minister who’s reacted to a video which was published this week which showed the poor state of some of the Island’s landmarks.
Historian Charles Guard, who produced it, said he felt the deterioration – which included the Sea Terminal - showed a ‘lack of pride’.

But Alex Allinson – who has responsibility for tourism – says things will get better:
Douglas man charged with 'a number of serious offences' after Cornaa Beach incident
Internal review to be carried out into police handling of serious incident
Residents 'feel let down' by police communication
