42-year-old remanded in custody
A man's appeared in court accused of committing grevious bodily harm at a property in Douglas over the weekend.
Craig Alan Varey, of no fixed abode, also faces one charge of attempted robbery and one of wounding with intent.
It follows an incident last Sunday (8 Oct) in which a male received serious injuries.
Appearing before Douglas magistrates today, the 42-year-old spoke only to confirm his name.
He has been remanded in custody until his next court appearance next Thursday, 19 October.
