Alan Johnson's appearance kicks off Manx LitFest
An inspiring story will be revealed at the Gaiety Theatre on Tuesday evening.
Former UK Home Secretary Alan Johnson is the guest of the Manx Sporting and Dining Club.
His visit marks the start of the 2015 Manx LitFest.
