People asked to stay away from the area
Firefighters are asking the public to avoid the area of Peel Hill due to a fire.
A 200m segment of land has caught light near to the monument which overlooks Patrick village.
The Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service says in order to deal with the incident 'safely and efficiently' it needs people to stay away.
Earlier today fire fighters dealt with a large gorse fire on Peel Hill in a field near Corrin's Folly.
