Education minister explains how results will be assessed
A temporary measure has been introduced that will modify the number of UCAS points required to access student awards on the Isle of Man.
It's as every student's downgraded exam result in Scotland has been withdrawn.
Tests were cancelled as a result of the coronavirus pandemic - meaning teachers issued estimates instead, but many were moderated.
Education Secretary John Swinney says that process has now been reversed.
Meanwhile on the Island, instead of requiring 80 UCAS points, or the equivilant of two B grades at A level, it will be reduced to the equivilant of three subjects at grade D or above, or 72 UCAS to be eligible for Students Award funding.
