Agricultural Development Scheme payment made early
President of the Manx National Farmers' Union, Tim Johnston, says it's good to see government supporting the agriculture industry during an expensive time.
This comes after Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister Geoffrey Boot announced farmers would receive their final payment in the Agricultural Development Scheme earlier than planned.
Mr Johnston says financially, farms have not been impacted by the coronavirus pandemic yet - but if the price of farm produce continues to decline, businesses could be in danger:
