Fire affected Staarvey Farm on Monday night
The owners of a farm in the west of the Island have praised firefighters after a serious blaze which destroyed a large barn on their land on Monday night.
Jenny and Stephen Devereau of Staarvey Farm near Peel say the fire is a major setback for their organic produce business, but it was some consolation that it occurred outside the growing season.
Jenny told Manx Radio they have received many goodwill messages from around the Island and they are particularly grateful to firefighters who responded:
