David Fletcher paintings on display in Peel
An artist with 'passion, patience and vision' is the focus of an exhibition opened at the weekend.
David Fletcher, who died in 2008, won a number of accolades and several of his paintings are held in public and private collections.
He was also the course leader for Art and Design at the Isle of Man College for 21 years, and a member of the Island's Arts Council.
Some of his work is on display at the House of Manannan until February.
Opening the exhibition On Sunday, Vice Chair of Manx National Heritage David Martin remembered some of David Fletcher's other accomplishments:
