
The chief minister says a report which would transform the legal status of the Isle of Man government remains work in progress.
In Tynwald today (18 Nov) Allan Bell clarified the appointment of its author Sir John Elvidge.
He was engaged in July this year to report on his experience of single legal entity government in Scotland and elsewhere.
His outline proposals have so far cost £25,000, paid for from the Cabinet Office budget.
Allan Bell told Tynwald it doesn't mean the recommendations in the report would be automatically approved:
