Road closures will be in place on Malew Street and Ellerslie Gardens
Malew Street in Castletown will be closed for up to eight weeks in the New Year while drainage works take place.
The scheme at Ellerslie Gardens and the northern end of Malew Street will extend the surface water drainage system in the area.
Larger capacity pipes, new manholes and additional gullies will be added in a bid to reduce the water that gathers at School Hill after spells of heavy rain.
Road closures will be in place when the projects gets underway on 11 January, while parking restrictions also in force.
