Stock numbers could take three years to recover
The lack of rain has 'very serious' implications for the farming industry in the Isle of Man.
That's the view of the President of the Manx National Farmers Union.
A lack of grass is affecting milk yields from dairy cows, and the condition of beef cattle - and could lead to farmers reduce stock numbers ahead of the winter months, when additional feed will be scarce.
