7-year-old treated after being in contact with used needle
Police on the Isle of Man are urging people to dispose of hypodermic needles safely after a seven-year-old came into contact with a used needle and needed hospital treatment.
It's believed a bag of the used instruments were 'carelessly' discarded in the grounds of Henry Bloom Noble School, behind the ambulance station close to Hillside Avenue.
Sergeant Andy Reed says the injury caused untold worry and concern to the family of the child.
