Flights to some key routes will be reduced from next month
The Department for Enterprise says discussions with easyJet remain ‘ongoing’ following the airline’s decision to reduce flights between April and October.
Minister Tim Johnston believes the move highlights the need for a longer-term approach, calling it ‘essential’ that core routes are served by alternative providers.
easyJet says the decision followed a review of its flying programme.
