Organisers say full totals still to be calculated
Some of the figures for money raised at the various New Year's Day dips are coming in.
The southern ones, says organiser Lenny Conroy, raised over £2,000 thanks to main sponsors Domicilium, PokerStars and Sure, and t-shirt sales alone.
Bridge the Gap was the chosen charity.
Meanwhile, Ramsey's one made £700 on the day, with organisers expecting that figure to double by the time all the money comes in by the end of the month or so.
It will be equally distributed between Ramsey RNLI and Bunscoil Rhumsaa.
