Efforts underway to up-skill and re-skill Island's employees
Efforts to up-skill, and re-skill, the Island's workforce by improving digital literacy are underway.
Digital Isle of Man and, training provider, Readynez are offering 300 people the opportunity to improve their digital confidence – for free.
It's part of efforts to plug gaps across a number of sectors of the economy.
Lorna Trevethan, from Readynez, and Sarah Ennett, from Digital Isle of Man, say the programme is targeted at everyone:
Courses are open to all and will teach things like how to use search engines, protect devices and data and use the Microsoft Office Suite.
