Digital Isle of Man has issued an apology for a 'poor decision' that has impacted people and the local ecosystem.
The message on social media, from the government agency, says it has learned from feedback and taken the 'appropriate action'.
It added it's hoped this response goes towards restoring people's trust.
In a statement to Manx Radio Digital Isle of Man says the apology was issued to the Twitter community following a series of posts earlier today regarding a conflict of interest in sponsorship for the Digital Isle event next week.
We recognise we made a poor decision that has impacted you and apologise.
