New legislation in Scotland brought in to crack down on incidents
The Retail Head of the Manx Co-op says there was a 'definite increase' in abuse towards shop workers in 2020.
New legislation (Protection of Workers Bill) which came into effect in Scotland yesterday (24 August) aims to protect retail staff against these incidents whilst granting tougher punishments for those who commit them.
