That is how the relocation of the Health and Safety At Work Inspectorate to the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture is being described.
There, it will sit alongside the department's body which deals with the likes of environmental protection and health, and food safety.
DEFA Minister Richard Ronan is welcoming the move.
