Security expert wants more cooperation
Information sharing is key to help businesses tackle cyber crime in the future according to a data security expert.
Steve Billinghurst from PwC Isle of Man says companies need to start sharing the details of cyber breaches so others can be better prepared and protected against threats.
In October this year the Chief Minister announced the launch of the Office of Cyber Security and Information Assurance, to ensure all government bodies can defend against cyber crime.
Mr Billinghurst says the Island would be more resilient to hacks if data sharing was more common:
Consultation open on plans to formally recognise the heritage of Douglas Head
Drop-in session to support Isle of Man charities
Fundraiser to keep St John Ambulance emergency fleet on the road
Ayre and Michael MHKs request meeting with commissioners over rates
