Minister admits there is much to do
The infrastructure minister admits there is much work ahead if the Isle of Man is to attract more cruise ship visitors.
Plans for a deep-water berth at the Victoria Pier in Douglas have been announced by his department
The project, which is subject to Tynwald approval, would cost £11 million and forms part of an £80 million scheme to work on seven different areas of Douglas harbour in all.
This is all included in the government's new harbours strategy, which covers the Island's five main ones - Douglas, Ramsey, Peel, Port Erin and Port St Mary.
