
The chairman of the Isle of Man Astronomical Society hopes the Island can become a tourist destination for stargazers.
Howard Parkin says we currently have seven sites with a dark-sky discovery status.
And he has applied for 13 more locations to qualify for the title.
Mr Parkin says astronomical visitors will benefit the whole economy:
