Director of Ports says flooding more likely in future
Communities and government will have to work together to try and minimise flood damage in years ahead.
That's the belief of Director of Ports Ann Reynolds.
It comes as Storm Frank caused havoc to many of the Island's roads and disrupted flights and boats on Wednesday (December 30).
Speaking just before Christmas as she reviewed her department's work through 2015, Ms Reynolds said all the evidence seems to suggest that flooding incidents are likely to be more frequent in the years ahead.
She believes both her department and the Island as a whole has to be prepared:
